CITY OF SAN FERNANDO (Pampanga) – In its most innovative marketing move yet, premier real estate leisure developer Landco Pacific Corporation, has completed laying ground works to bring Southern-American way of life in a posh subdivision project here.

Located just few meters away from giant shopping centers of SM and Robinson in this city, Landco made true of its idea of creating ‘Life At Your Leisure’ with the completion of WoodGrove Park .

The city is rapidly becoming the hub of economic progress and developments being at the center of trade and business in this part of Central Luzon .

Landco Pacific president and CEO Alfred Xerez-Burgos III said that continuing developments are taking place at the world-class WoodGrove Park , a 46-hectare high-end hometown community project in partnership with Central Weyland Properties, Inc (CWPI).

Mr. Burgos explained that the company decided to adopt the Southern American-inspired concept because of its proximity to the former US Clark Airbase, targeting American retirees wanting to maintain homeland lifestyle here as well as returning Filipino-American balikbayans from the US and other parts of the globe.

“We might even consider creating an activity day with fun-filled New Orleans style ‘Mardi Gras’ street party to complete the Southern American concept,” Mr. Burgos said.

Over the weekend, Landco opened the WoodGrove Park Clubhouse that features an air-conditioned ballroom where homeowners can hold wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other special occasions.

“The clubhouse fulfills the envisioned goal to be the newest prime events venue in this city, inviting everyone to hold their special moments,” Landco Vice president Gerard Marcelo said.

With its versatile functionality, the Clubhouse allows members of the community to enjoy the company of family and friends amidst the soothing ambience that only the surrounding environment can provide.

Mr. Burgos said that Landco has also completed the construction of the Central Park, one of the major parts of its 2.5-hectare amenity block at the WoodGrove Park .

Aside from these, WoodGrove will have a basketball court, jogging trails as well as a free-form adult pool and kiddie pools providing residents a relaxing leisure setting.

The Central Park is a 6,000 square meter open-field playground with state-of-the-art landscaping that can accommodate up to 2,000 persons. Children will love to run and play in the open space while parents and grandparents can relax, knowing the young ones are safe and sound.

During the inauguration of the Club House, Mr. Burgos accompanied guests and reporters to show the completed model house which will now serve to inspire lot owners with its Southern American architectural theme while other land clusters are now ready for construction for clients to start building their houses.

Landco is widely acknowledged to be the leader in leisure development with a diverse portfolio of leisure, urban and hometown developments all over the country. It reported sales above target for the first half of the year driven by strong performance of its prime communities.

Central Weyland Properties, Inc. Chairman and President Dr. Leopoldo H. Lazatin said that WoodGrove would serve a model for sustainable community not only filled with stately houses but “homes filled with happy memories and loving families.”

“The community, although Southern American inspired, will also embody Filipino values where one can feel safe and secure to raise a family in the pursuit of happiness and the Filipino Dream of a better life,” Mr. Lazatin said.

Landco was founded by Alfred Xerez-Burgos, Jr. in 1990 which pioneered innovative concepts in leisure development beginning with Peninsula de Punta Fuego, Terrazas de Punta Fuego and Amara en Terrazas, high-end exclusive seaside residential resort developments with world-class amenities.

Landco also pioneered the hobby farming community by integrating residential resort with modern farming with its Leisure Farms development located in Lemery, Batangas.

The project was followed by Ponderosa Leisure Farms in Silang, Cavite , a flower garden community with a Spanish-Mexican theme.

Landco’s other premier developments include leisure communities Peninsula de Punta Fuego, Terrazas de Punta Fuego, Amara en Terrazas, Playa Calatagan, Playa Laiya, Playa Azalea, Leisure Farms, Ponderosa Leisure Farms, and Hacienda Escudero. Urban communities Tribeca Private Residences and Stonecrest, Waterwood Park, MonteLago Nature Estates, Woodside Garden Village, The Courtyard at Lakewood Golf Estates and Woodridge Garden Village.
